Sun and Stars Photo Adventure - Phoenix
Overview
Join me for a sunset and stars photography experience in the foothills of Superstition Mountains! This is a 3.5 hours tour.

We're going to be in the right place at the right time to capture the best shots possible.

I will explain the basics of sunset and night time photography and you'll get a chance to practice your new skills right away in a few very scenic locations.

This experience is designed for those who love photography, both beginners and advanced. Should you need photography tips, I'm very happy to help with photo techniques, composition and making the most of your time here.

Itinerary
-
We meet in Apache Junction at a location that will be communicated after booking your tour
-
We start with a short desert hike among saguaros, leading to great views of the spectacular mountains nearby. We then stop at a couple of photogenic spots to capture the Superstitions looking their best at sunset.
-
After sundown we're going to visit a spooky ghost town nearby that offers excellent photo opportunities during the "blue hour". Now is the time to use your tripod -- don't worry if you don't have one, I'll bring some spare ones along!
-
Finally, we go back to the desert to shoot a night time scene with saguaros, stars and the Superstition Mountains. We'll also capture a few shots of little scorpions -- they make excellent subjects because they tend to stand quite still.

However, if you own a new smartphone (e.g. iPhone 11 or 12, Google Pixel 4, Samsung S20 or newer) you will be able to take surprisingly good photos as well.
